The short version
We collect two things: what you deliberately send us, and anonymous measurements of how the site is used. We don't sell either. We don't buy mailing lists, and we won't add you to a newsletter because you asked us for a quote.
What you send us
Our forms ask for your name, your email, and a sentence about your business. A phone number is optional every time we ask for one — if you leave it out, the form still works, and we'll reply by email instead.
We use it to answer you, and to keep a record of the conversation so we don't ask you the same question twice. Nothing more.
What we measure
We use Google Analytics and the Google Ads tag to see which pages people read and which adverts bring them here. This uses cookies and similar identifiers. It tells us that someone in Baton Rouge read two pages and filled in a form; it doesn't tell us who you are.
Analytics is switched off entirely on preview and development builds, so our own testing never looks like real visitors.
If you arrive from an advert, the link carries an identifier for that click. We keep it in your browser and attach it to your enquiry if you send one, so we can tell which advert paid for it and stop running the ones that don't work. It says nothing about you — only which advert you clicked — and it expires after 90 days. Clearing your browser data removes it.
Advertising
We advertise on Google. That means:
- Third-party vendors, Google included, may show our ads on sites across the internet.
- They may use cookies or device identifiers based on your past visits to this site to decide which ads to show you.
- Google's own use of that data is governed by Google's privacy policy.
- You can switch personalised advertising off at any time.
To opt out, use Google My Ad Center or the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out. Your browser's cookie settings and any ad blocker you already use will also stop it.
Who else handles it
We're a two-person studio, so we use other companies to host the site and move the email. These are all of them:
Pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser, and which ad or link brought you here.
To understand which pages and adverts work. Ad personalisation is switched off by default for visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland.
Server logs, IP address, and anonymous page-performance measurements.
Hosting the site, keeping it fast, and blocking abuse.
The name, email, optional phone number and message you type into a form.
Delivering that enquiry to our inbox and sending you a confirmation.
Your name, email and chosen time, if you book a call.
Scheduling the call and adding it to both calendars.
The messages you type into the chat assistant.
Generating a reply. We don't use these to train anything, and the conversation lives in your own browser tab, not in a database of ours.
How long we keep it
Enquiries stay in our email for as long as we might reasonably need them — roughly two years after we last spoke, or until you ask us to delete them. Analytics data expires on Google's schedule, currently 14 months.
Your say
Email hello@omnistrive.dev and ask for a copy of what we hold on you, a correction, or deletion. You'll get a person, not a ticket number, and we'll do it within 30 days. There's no form to fill in and no account to create.
Children
This is a site that sells software to businesses. It isn't aimed at children, and we don't knowingly collect anything from them.
Changes
If we start using something new, it gets added to the list above and the date at the top changes. We don't quietly broaden what we collect.
